This ride is a very laid back and enjoyable ride. There is plenty to see and do on certain points along the way. If you start out in Yorktown, then you can visit the Yorktown Historic Battlefield. Once you get on the Colonial Parkway, you can stop in Williamsburg(part of the parkway actually runs under the town). After Williamsburg you have Jamestown, which is really something to see. There is so much history in just the first 30 miles of the trip. Once you hit route 5 (Nickel) you have a wide variety of road conditions, but these are great for beginners. There are old plantations along both the Nickel and Dime (Route 10) portions of this ride. Upon your return toward James town on the Southside of the James River you will take the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry(free) back across to Jamestown. The next time I ride this route I will post pics.

This is a motorcycle ride in the state of Virgina. This motorcycle route has 7 scenery characteristics and other road conditions to help you plan your road trip. This motorcycle map was created by OdieHD in March. Click here to see other Motorcycle Roads by OdieHD

Good for a scenic run. Was not able to get much of a lean angle on this route. Sweeping turns describes it correctly.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
