the trace to the parkway

this route takes you to paradise ky in muhlenburg co. made famous by john prine.then east on us 62 for some nice scenery and some good roads. i took i-65 north to make a little time stopping for a visit at the jim beam distillery in clermont ky. then on to indiana 256 to ride along the ohio river on 56.a beautiful river road with some cool old river towns along the way. crossed back into ky in markland in. and down the ky side on 42.camped at gen butler state resort in carrollton.took 277 down to 355 which in my opinion was the best road i hit in ky. road 127 down to 150 to scenic 25. then i took 229 to 25e which was a good move because next time i go this way it'll be a new 4 lane. (they're killing a great road). the rest of the run to pisgah nat. forest was just good ol mountain roads lots of twist and el. changes. excellent run with lots to see.
