After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. About 220 miles. It can be done in a long morning or afternoon. There are lots of variations you can do as well to shorten or lengthen to suit your schedule. Not to be missed are Highway 22 through Maurepas (one of the better motorcycle roads in LA IMO,) the River Road including the Bonnet Carre Spillway, and the Rigolets. Though freeway droning is no fun, I usually choose to avoid traffic and take I-10 through N.O. and I-12 along most of the North Shore. Also, avoid weekdays for better traffic.
