Loveland to Boulder.
The first leg from Loveland to Estes Park has many features.
The first part coming out of Loveland has some very nice cliffs on one side and a stream on the other. Take your time on this road as you look up on the cliff for mountain goats. My wife searched while I watched the rode. Then you climb into the mountains toward Estes Park. On the down side of the mountain, were meany switchbacks with excellent views of the town and the Rockies in the background.
The town of Estes Park is a quaint little town. Watch out for the elk crossing the road. There is also the Overlook Hotel from the movie the Shining.
On the southern road out of Estes Park toward Boulder is a nice sweeping twisty road again with cliffs and streams surrounding the road.
