This trip was for one thing and it was the Baby Back Ribs at The Pit in Raleigh. Started out just before 10am with an appetite. The ride on 158 was a little busy till I got to Stokesdale but from there to Roxoboro it was very pleasant. The leaves were just starting to turn, a week or so later would of been better. The ride down 501 to Raleigh was exactly what I expected, traffic, traffic, traffic. Putting up with the traffic was well worth it once they brought out the collard greens, bbq beans and the RIBS. My waiter was a little concerned if I liked it with nothing but the marrow running out the bones left on my plate. With my gut full I slowly made my way back to my bike for the return trip home. I decide to take 64 home because I wasn't sure if my rib slowed reflexes could handle the competition of I-40. Well I arrive back home about 5pm satisfied with a day of riding and feasting.
