This route takes you to the Hoffman Covered Bridge one of if not the only covered bridge remaining in Southern Indiana and ends with a panaramic view of the St Meinard Archabbey.Indiana State Highway 545 out of Troy is an excellent two lane road with only moderate traffic. The road has some sweeping turns and rolling hills if followed all the way to St. Meinard.Departing off 545 onto IN CR-1300 N (Hoffman Rd) is a narrow road with several tight turns, tree lined and canopied sections until you arrive at Hoffman Covered Bridge. After leaving the bridge follow the road to Bristow and then take the Bristow-St. Meinard Rd (CR152/154). Towards the end of the ride, there is a left hand turn which opens up on a hillside offering a very nice view of the Archabbey in the distance.
