Truckee to Oroville Gold Coountry Casino via MT LASSEN NATIONAL PARK

Total Mileage 287 miles 6:34 hrs Riding Time Mt. Lassen is so gorgeous you will want to take your time and lots of pictures so allow plenty of time for that.Only gas in the Park is at Manzanita Lake Store (regulear only) so be sure to fuel up in Greenville.Road conditions were superb and traffic light on the Saturday I went. A lot of it is newly resurfaced! Speed limit is pretty slow so just enjoy the ride & the scenery.$10 to enter the park. I have a National Park Pass ($80) that is good for 1 year from purchase date to all the National Parks and then some.Some of these roads are closed in winter so late spring through fall is the best time to go. Summer's are HOT along the lower elevations of this route so keep that in mind.Plenty of camping and rest rooms available. Didn't find many places along the way to eat, but The Squeeze In in Truckee has the best breakfasts. This ride ends at Gold Country Indian Casino. Had the buffet ($17), it was ok.
