I left Phoenix a 5AM so I could get a head start on the traffic, and the heat. Once I got about 40 miles out side of Phoenix the temp dropped real quick and it was time to put on the rest of my riding gear. It was money well spent.
There is not a lot to tell, other than there ride from Payson to Socorro is very nice country to see. With great mountain views and lot of curves. This is a must see even if you just ride from Payson,AZ to Socorro,NM.

I took a short break at a rest area and took these shots. I lucked out and got there right after it had rained. The whole day partly cloudy and I had rain on and off. It very cool that day.
