Just a good old fashioned scenic road and a great way to avoid the interstate. Beware in the Montpelier-Barre area as it can get congested from time to time.Watch for the usual hazards of any country road - tractors, deer, and mud from driveways.Also, take a quick detour detour to Brookfield (Vt 65) to cross the the floating wooden bridge that spans the mill pond.
