This is a great route. One suggestion modification I would consider is when heading when on 14, if your turn right on "Powcan Road" rather than following 14 to the end, and then cut across 360 your can do a buttonhook around the town of Tappahanock and then just roll 2-3 blocks through town before crossing the Rapaphanock RIver. While the town is only a few mile slong the speed is 20-25 MPH and it often gets backed up. Bypassing the town buys you an extra dose of country riding and avoids slow traffic riding in hto weather.

Great route especially eastern part. It's about 275-300 mile route from Virginia Beach. Rolling 2 lane roads, some curves here and there.
