this ride is great for any type of rider.you will start out with a short ride up I-40 to the 407 exit pigeon forge/gatlinburg exit.you will then turn rt and head up to pigeon forge.this is a great place to have a little fun if you have the time shopping, putt putt,go carts, gret food, theaters, rides.after turning rt onto wears vally rdit is nothing but peacefull riding, breath taking mountain views flowers, old farm houses up and down hills lots of curves.when you get to the end of that road you will come out at townsend anothergreat place. they have great little places to shop and eat lots of old time crafts, blue grass singing a few little stands wear people sells boiled peanuts and hand crafted gifts, they have white water rafting, cave exploring just a small laid back town. after that you will head for maryville and then to alcoa not much going on their but a few good places to eat and the sights of seeing a air plane or two landing at the knoxville airport.after turning rt onto gov john sevier hwy you will find another fine rd to ride and if you have the time you can stop to see the home of gov john sevier.all in all its a good ride for me and I think it could be a good ride for anyone.gas stops is no problem food is no problem, entertainment is no problem.and the views are great.i would sugest that you make this ride in the fall or spring for thebest colors.
