Weekend Ride

Well here we go, up rte. 8 in CT then old rte. 8 into MA If your lucking you won't put your feet down until you hit Dalton. Now rte. 7 was washed out so we found Jackson Cross Rd to Maple Grove Rd nice twisty road to 9 in Bennington. Plenty of places to eat and stay for a night. Then out of Vt on rte.9(7 in NY) to 22N. Nice travel road with some scenery, over to 149 to 40 back to 22,Nice views of the the mountains, stop at Fort Ann HD nice people. Back to 149 then 9L north. great road goes around southwestern side of the lake. Take 9 thru Lake George run it to 28 run 28 to Indian Lake. Hungry try The Bear Trap then back onto 28 go back to 30. Now the road gets fun. Run 30 to 8 all the way to Herkermer. Pick up 5s to 51. 51 is going to start out AWSOMELY. I won't ruin it enjoy. 51 then becomes a very scenic ride thru farm land. Run 51 back to 8 to 7. Hello Bainbridge. Food at Jerry's Stay at Alakonic (something like that) really nice at $55 a night. 206 out of town great road hills twist got it all. Run it right to Downsville. Stop in at the last station on the right for old fashion soda fountain drinks.30is a GREAT ROAD follows the Catskills and the lakes sweepers, sweepers, sweepers, all the way to 28 again thru the Catskills. Pick up 212 into Woodstock then 375 out 209 north to 199 to 22/44 to 343 into CT to rte.4. 4 to 63 home.
