From Alvin out past the State Park is a very nice ride. Lots of curves on FM762. Cap it off with a good burger at the West of the Brazos ice house in Damon. Very biker-friendly.

This is a great way out of the congestion of the Controe-Houston-Galveston megapolis. The roads are good, traffic is OK and the scenery is good.

I departed from Pearland, took Dixie Farm road to 35 then out to 1462. Did not have GPS, do now, but it was a nice little ride. Had a burger at West of the Brazos Ice House and took a scenic route home. Great day ride. Take some time and relax at the ice house, very laid back, lots of bikes and just a nice cozy place to relax and have a cold one.

The newly rebuilt bar(like the last one) is a dump!.
Not worth your time to visit. the acustics in the place are terrible and it relly makes the music sound like crap.

Stay off of 762!!! Families are trying to come home from church and the sport bikes are going to kill someone. A few of them have already lost there own lives on this route. Sport bikes should ride a track if they want to go fast!!!

If you are around Houston and you want to go on a really nice short trip then this one is great. The roads are nice and have quite a few curves near the Brazos park. There were quite a few bikers on the road when I went which was nice to see. I came back on a different route and I really enjoyed the trip.
