The town you ride and return through has many surprisingly delicious restaurants for a good beginning and end to your ride. Though it's gaining popularity and loosing that small town feel, it's still a charming stop. The trail itself takes many switchbacks so be conservative with the throttle or a 180 degree turn will turn your bike into part of the scenic route. I'd also encourage anyone to stray from the trail. You'll find that there are tons of beautiful roads, overlooks, and hair raising switch backs; this route is just to introduce you to one of the most overlooked route for twists and bends. WARNING: not for the feint of heart! This route will have you leaning back in forth so quickly you'll think you're in a safety course.
