Wolcott Trip

This is a short ride with variations of road types. First and foremost is in the mountains and beautiful. You start off on a interstate. After traveling past some of the best ski resorts in the country, Vail and Copper Mountain, you arrive on a two lane road. The two laner goes thru a small town and past some great ranch lands. Beautiful twisting roads and some long distant vistas. The road is not crowd. I once pulled over and parked my motorcycle and took nap that lasted over an hour. It was the best nap I had in my life and I'll never forget it. On the way home, I detour and travel over a small dam. The lake that I travel around is full of campgrounds. It's fun seeing all the families in there different colored tents. For a short trip, I always come back refreshed and satisfied.
