this is a 5 star park, but how can I discribe perfect? Labor day weekend and we headed into yellowstone after a nice afternoon in cooke city MT. We rode into yellowstone, everything is book! We then head north to Livingstone MT for the night (Gardner MT to much $$$$$) now the problem is solved. The next morning we headed back and took the west side route. watch for stopped vehicals and you will see the wonderful things yellowstone has! just remember, if you enjoy all that is to be seen in yellowstone you will be stopping alot! great trip, and we will do it again soon.

I cannot believe anyone could ride the loop in 4 hours - between tourist traffic, wildlife jams and just riding safely on the park roads, I would plan on about 6 hours without stops. I've been caught behind a bison herd on the road that took 30 minutes just to travel 2 miles.

That said, this is one of the premier rides. Everyone should take this one.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
