Wisconsin is far more than just cheese and beer, although there is nothing wrong with either of those things. Wisconsin motorcycle rides will reveal all that the state has to offer bikers, including incredible scenery, wide open roads, and okay, maybe a beer or two.
When exploring the northern portion of Wisconsin, you will find huge trees dotting the landscape of the Northern Highland along with thousands of glacial lakes. Moving south, the landscape turns more pastoral and is home to much of the dairy land that has made the state famous. Most of the population also is found in the south of the state, including the state's biggest city, Milwaukee.
Wisconsin motorcycle routes are really only limited by your imagination and your tastes. If you want a more natural, scenic experience, the highways of northern Wisconsin are begging to be explored. If you prefer a tour of the population centers for some great food and drink, the southern plains are perfect. No matter which direction you head, you aren't going to lack for open roads on your next motorcycle ride.
Wisconsin has a great summer climate with comfortable afternoon temperatures and little to no rain. The winters are cold in Wisconsin, and probably more suited for Packers games than motorcycle tours. If you are looking for a summer destination for a great motorcycle vacation, you won't do much better than the great state of Wisconsin!
